Capitalism!

This concept negates the source of things. It only accounts for those who society allows to own the means of producing or trading for things. 

We base a nations worth of its trading abilities. A Gross National Product. A number which one can manipulate. 

We leave out the source of the people who live and work the system. We leave out the source of all agricultural called Earth. We leave out the air and our waters. We leave out the bacteria and the fungi as well as the insects. 

We leave out the transnational assets of Earth such as our polar ice caps. 

What is missing in our GNP is really the algorithm for the coming environmental collapse of Earth and our Homo sapiens life style.
